Kathy Chapin

KATHLEEN ANN CHAPIN (nee McEnally) age 69, beloved wife for 43 years of Douglas Chapin; loving mother of Wendeline (husband John) Bolakowski and Daniel; devoted grandmother of Michael Bolakowski; sister of the late Ronald McEnally; and daughter of the late Kathleen McEnally.

Kathy was a beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, and Friend who brought bold and vibrant life to her family and community.  On Tuesday December 10, 2019, Kathy passed away.  Kathy’s life was blessed with many gifts which she used to give back to the world as a daughter, a wife, a mother, a sister, a dear friend, nurse, and volunteer.  Kathy completed her Nursing degree at Ursuline College and began her Nursing career upon graduation at University Hospital in Cleveland, she worked in many areas of nursing and then onto Cleveland Clinic where she had many roles. Her love of gardening, dogs, horses, and lifelong learning filled her days after retirement. She will be greatly missed in our lives.

The family will receive friends to celebrate the life of Kathy on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 3:00pm until the time of the memorial service beginning at 5:30PM in the DeJohn funeral home located in Chesterland 12811 Chillocothe Rd (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd).
