Kathryn Zielinski

KATHRYN M. ZIELINSKI (nee Myernik) age 67, beloved wife for 36 years of Chester ; loving mother of Stephanie Sorohan (Robert Boyce), Laura McGinty (husband Thomas) and the late Audrey Sorohan; devoted grandmother of Sheridan Sorohan, Michael, Krista, Colin, and Liam McGinty and great-grandmother of Nolan and Joshua; cherished daughter of the late Stephan and Erma (nee Fargo) Myernik; dearest sister of Patricia Picciano (husband Liberato), and the late Stephen and Stephanie Myernik; dearest aunt of Robert Cilenti, Jr. (wife Tina) and great-aunt of Alexis and Robert, III.

Kathryn is survived by her beloved pets.

Kathryn was born on August 17, 1953 and died peacefully on December 8, 2020.

Kathryn grew up in the Buckeye Rd area in Cleveland. She has been a resident of Willoughby Hills for the last thirty years. She was a member of the St. Noel Parish since 1992. She attended Hoban Dominican High School. After high school Kathryn went on to be a machinist at General Electric.

Kathryn loved her pets and all kinds of music. She also enjoyed traveling and going on cruises to visit beaches in tropical locations. She rooted for the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Indians . However, Kathryn’s favorite was watching her grandson play football for the Mentor Cardinals and spending time with all of her grandchildren.

She was a strong and independent woman who was respected for her intelligence. She was an avid animal lover who was always smiling. A kind and generous woman with a great sense of humor, Kathryn will be missed by all.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Kathryn at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SUNDAY DECEMBER 13 2020 2-5 PM. Private Family Services with burial at All Souls Cemetery.
