Kathleen “Kathy” Pfouts

KATHLEEN “KATHY” PFOUTS (nee McHale) age 63; loving mother of Benjamin (wife Karrie) and Matthew (wife Kaitlyn); devoted grandmother of Kennedy, Kourtney and Kyla Pfouts; cherished daughter of John and the late Patricia (nee Oar) McHale; dearest sister of John (wife Hillarey) and Stephen (Suzanne) McHale, Patricia Crews (husband Stephen) and Ann McHale (partner Harriet Lester); dear niece, aunt, cousin and friend of many.

Kathy was born on May 30, 1959 in Philadelphia, PA and passed away suddenly on September 12, 2022. She moved to Cleveland in 1970 and graduated from Kenston High School in 1977. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bowling Green in 1981 and attended Tri C for nursing. Kathy was an avid reader who loved running, shopping and spending time with her family and granddaughters. She had the classiest and most caring heart and her beauty shined both inside and out. Kathy had a great sense of humor and loved everyone, there wasn’t a stranger she didn’t know. She will be remembered most as a kind, gentle woman who was extremely giving, generous and thoughtful. Kathy will be forever missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, September 16, 2022, at 11 AM at Church of the Holy Angels 18205 Chillicothe Rd, Chagrin Falls, OH. Burial following at Restland Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Kathy at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) THURSDAY 3-7 PM.
