Kathleen Davey

KATHLEEN DAVEY, of Lyndhurst, OH, passed way on October 4, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Thomas, loving mother of Katherine Ruth “Katie” Nicolli (husband David A. Nicolli, Jr.) (both deceased), dear grandmother of Ella and Avery Nicolli, fond step-mother to Terrance, Brian, Tommy (Vicki), Michael (deceased) and Kevin (Monica) Davey, and step-grandmother to Marissa, Tommi, Maddie, Tommy and Connie Davey, devoted daughter of the late Frederick and Ruth (nee Jordan) Chamberlin, cherished sister of Loretta Chamberlin, Edward Chamberlin (wife Ebe), Patricia Buehner (husband Joseph) and the late Thomas Chamberlin and Idana Cruse, treasured aunt and great-aunt.

Mass of Christian Burial for Kathleen will be held on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6850 Mayfield Rd., Gates Mills, at 10:30 AM. Rev. Fr. Peter Kovacina, officiating (face masks and social distancing required). Burial in Lake View Cemetery will be private.

Kathy was an amazing loving wife, mother, “Grammy K,” sister, aunt and wonderful friend to many. She will be missed greatly especially her style, grace and elegance. Kathy had many special gifts in fashion design, baking (her cheesecake could have won awards), her quick wit left us all laughing, her many years participating in the drill team for the Eastside Irish American Club brought her many smiles.

The master entertainer she had the ability to make everyone feel at ease and special. Her love for her daughter Katie, Son-in-Law Dave and “Her Girls” Ella and Avery were her greatest joy.
