KATHLEEN A. NAINIGER age 48, beloved daughter of James and Judith (nee Gron) dearest sister of Karen Malcolm (husband David), Kevin, and Kristen Bobes (husband Tyler); loving aunt of Ian Malcolm, Makenzie, Bridger, Lachlan “Lucky”, and Margaret “Margo” Bobes; cherished niece of Eugene and Mary Nainiger, Delores and Thomas Roethel, Darlene and Tim Kral, Susan and Herbert Wilson, Gary and Christie Gron, Susan and the late Thomas Kascak, Nancy and William Powell; dear cousin and friend of many.
Kathleen Nainiger was born June 11, 1969 and passed away January 26, 2018. She was a resident of Mentor on the Lake for the past 21 years and grew up in Euclid. Kathy graduated from Regina High School in 1987. She proudly worked as a Customer Service Manager for Progressive Insurance for many years. Kathy was a member at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church. She enjoyed volunteering at Camp Happiness, a camp for special needs children. She had several hobbies and interest such as cooking, traveling, board games, make-up and bowling. Kathy was athletic and played softball and volleyball in her earlier years, but continued her love for sports cheering for the Browns, Indians and Cavaliers. Family was very important to Kathy and she played a big role in the lives of her nieces and nephews. She will be remembered as private, kind and gentle individual with a witty sense of humor and was loved by her friends and family. Kathleen will be dearly missed.
Mass of Christian Burial Friday, February 2, 2018 at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Kathy at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 4-8 PM.
