KATHERINE L. LOESCH (nee Cross) age 63, beloved companion of Jeremy Ames; loving mother of Brandie Warrington (husband David) and Daniel Loesch (fiancé Jacquelyn Youngberg); devoted grandmother of Katrina Krein, Graham and Remi Youngberg; cherished daughter of Joe Ann Tabor-Marcum and the late Warren Cross; dearest sister of Douglas Cross (wife Rae); dear aunt of Maxwell, John and Maggie Cross; aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend of many. Survived by several canine companions.
Katherine was born December 19, 1960 and passed away on June 10, 2024. Growing up in the Concord area, she was very active in 4-H, winning many trophies and ribbons for her equestrian talents. After graduating from Riverside High School in 1978, she attended Lakeland Community College. With a big heart for animals, Katherine was actively involved in rescuing dogs, particularly Pugs, and caring for horses and various animals on her farm.
Music and the arts were a highlight to Katherine. Living so close to Cleveland allowed her to frequently attend plays and other events at Playhouse Square. When not jamming to rock, she could be found listening to jazz or Christian music playlists.
Katherine was an adventurous soul. Traveling took her to Lake Tahoe, Hawaii and numerous Caribbean Islands. On those trips or locally, she got great excitement while SCUBA diving, sky diving or flying an airplane.
Katherine was known for being optimistic and selfless, putting everyone above herself. She will forever be missed and lovingly remembered by family and friends.
