KATHERINE ROSE ARCECI (nee Mauro) age 97, beloved wife of the late Amedeo; loving mother of Kathy Ramage, Carol Augustine (husband Edward, deceased), Jerry (wife Donna), and Mary Beth Nelson (husband Gary); devoted grandmother of Katie Augustine (Bill Boronkay), Holly Lapine (husband Noah), Amy Papesh (husband J.R.), Lauren Nelson and Anthony, great-grandmother of Johnny and Ryan Papesh, Madeleine, Lilly and Ethan Lapine; cherished daughter of the late Anthony and Elizabeth (nee Damico) Mauro; dearest sister of Rose Sutyak (husband Michael deceased), and the late Edward Mauro (wife Dorothy deceased), Frank Mauro, and Mary Ballard (husband Ralph deceased); dear aunt and great-aunt and friend of many.

Katherine was a resident of Solon, previously of Maple Heights. She was a parishioner of St. Rita Catholic church. Katherine graduated from John Adams High School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed ceramics, knitting, crocheting, crafts, and home shopping. Katherine also was a great cook and baker. She enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners for her family. Katherine also enjoyed listening to Mills Brothers and the Rat Pack. She was loving, generous, sweet, strong willed, and giving. She was a great mom and very family oriented. Katherine will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Celebration of Life Service SATURDAY January 14, 2017 at 2 PM at Ferfolia Funeral Home 356 West Aurora Road (Ohio State Route 82) Sagamore Hills, OH 44067. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Katherine at THE FUNERAL HOME, Saturday January 14, 2017 1-2 PM. Arrangements by DeJohn Funeral Home & Crematory of Willoughby Hills.
