Karole York

KAROLE J. YORK (nee Kodysz), 76, of Munson, Ohio, passed away on October 3, 2022, after a long battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). Beloved wife of Gerald; loving mother of Jeffrey (Therese) and Scott (Stacy); cherished grandmother of Tanner, Anthony, Ashley, and Alex; dearest sister of Joseph Kodysz; daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (neeYaskowiak) Kodysz.

Karole spent her professional life caring for countless patients in her work as a nurse.  She enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with her family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Association Northern Ohio Chapter, 6133 Rockside Road, Suite 301, Independence, OH 44131, or Hospice of the Western Reserve, .

Celebration of Life Service Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 11 AM, at THE FUNERAL HOME.

Burial following at Fowlers Mill Cemetery.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Karole at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.)  WEDNESDAY 4-8 PM.
