Karen Delfs

KAREN E. DELFS age 40, loving mother of Taylor and Trey Speir; treasured daughter of Judy (nee Lewis) and Kenneth Delfs (wife Melody); cherished sister of Kimberly Watkins (husband Victor), Patricia, Kenneth, Jr (wife Kelly), Michael (fiancé Bonnie Simmons) and Lisa Delfs; dearest niece, aunt, cousin and friend of many.

Karen was born February 28, 1975 in Cleveland, OH and passed away November 2, 2015 in Colorado. Karen graduated from Mayfield High School in 1993, where she was a swimmer, cheerleader and ran track. She graduated from Ohio University in 1997, where she played rugby. Karen got the most enjoyment in life from her children; she loved being a soccer mom. Karen was a ray of sunshine who lit up a room and will be missed for her positive, energetic, outgoing and enthusiastic nature.

Celebration of Life Service Monday, November 9, 2015 at the FUNERAL HOME at 10:00 AM. Burial following at Acacia Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Karen at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SUNDAY 2-6 PM.
