June C. Miller

JUNE C. MILLLER (nee Berglund) age 80, passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with a debilitating muscular disease.

She is survived by her beloved husband and caregiver Robert “Bob”, three children, Mary Host (husband, David), Margaret “Peggy” Marotta (husband Thomas), and Michael P., and her three dear grandchildren, Brennen, Katie, and Nina.

June was a long-time resident of South Euclid, graduating from Charles F. Brush High School in 1958.

She was a worshipper at St. Gregory the Great Church, and wed her high school sweetheart, Robert (“Bob”), in one of the church’s first wedding ceremonies. June and Bob were blessed with a marriage of love for nearly sixty years.

June loved making crafts and made many beautiful gifts for family and friends. She also loved collecting crystal figurines and her smile would rival the brilliance of her collection. She was a talented cook and baker, especially when it came to cheesecake. June loved music and had a beautiful voice that could be heard as she sang while doing her daily household chores.

June and Bob moved to her dream home in Highland Heights in 2000, and enjoyed regular visits from the local wildlife on their spacious property.

Her family was the most important part of her life, and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, including the furry ones.

June was a very kind and caring friend and neighbor and she will be missed greatly.

Contributions may be made in memory of June to Catholic Charities or the Cleveland Animal Protective League.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, April 12, 2021 at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church, 5384 Wilson Mills Rd, Highland Heights, OH 44143, at 10 AM.

Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of June at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SUNDAY 12-2 & 4-6 PM.
