JUNE DOLORES HOENIGMAN (nee Puchta), aged 95 years, beloved wife of the late Aloysius M., dearest mother of Dolores Maichle Giera (husband Dennis), Peggy Kawa (husband Frank – deceased), Aloysius Jr. (wife Charlene), Kathleen Hoenigman Gibson (husband Thomas), Fred and Rita Phillips (husband Richard), loving grandmother of 17 and great-grandmother of 23, cherished daughter of the late Arthur and Christine (nee Mauser) Puchta, fond sister of the late Doris Cline, treasured aunt and grand-aunt.
June was born on February 12, 1920 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a 51 year resident of South Euclid. She had worked as a carrier for The Plain Dealer and the old Cleveland Press, and also at Sears Roebuck & Co. She was a member of the E.O.U.V. Lodge. She was an excellent cook and baker, and enjoyed hosting the family for dinner every Sunday. She loved playing cards. June was a devout Catholic, praying her rosary every day (and encouraged other to do the same!!). She was totally devoted to her family – her late husband Aloysius, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish at 11 AM. Burial following in Calvary Cemetery. the family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of June at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) SATURDAY MORNING 9 AM – 10:30 AM PRIOR TO MASS.
