JULIUS J. NIEDERMEYER, age 89. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor (nee Malczewski). Loving father of Carl, Karen M.N. Austin (husband James) and Paul (wife Sandra). Devoted grandfather of Timothy and Alexandra Austin, Jeffrey Niedermeyer, Ben Austin and Linda Niedermeyer. Cherished son of the late John and Barbara (nee Macrei). Dearest brother of the late Helen Banes, Rose Chaney, Walter, William, Sr, Leona Criscione, Elsie Mzik, Olga Fletcher and Ernie. Dear uncle and great uncle of many. World War II U.S. Army Purple Heart Veteran and member of 84th Infantry Division Railspitters.
Julius was a World War II U.S. Army Purple Heart Veteran and member of the 84th Infantry Division Railspitters. After working for Sohio/Standard Oil for 38 years as a maintenance mechanic, Julius retired in 1985. He was a former St. Christine parishioner with a heart of gold who loved traveling, woodworking and collecting trains. His family appreciated that his talent for home repairs and dependable attitude made him a “Jack of all Trades”.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, February 10, 2012 at St Noel Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Julius at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
