Julian Fisher

JULIAN R. “JULIA” FISHER (nee Ciora), passed away on June 13, 2016 following a fall, aged 88 years, dearly beloved mother of Jacquelyn and Joseph, loving grandmother of Eric, Bryan and Kristina, cherished daughter of the late Spiridon and Sophia (nee Surduc) Ciora, devoted sister of the late Michael, Tony, Charles and Maria Ciora, Mary Skryzmoski, Rose Tamburrino and Esther Davis, treasured aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt to many.

Mrs. Fisher passed away on June 13, 2016 at Metro General Hospital from injuries received in a fall. She was born on May 7, 1928 in Cleveland. She was a life-time member of the Assembly of God. She was retired from G.E. (Nela Park), G.M. Fisher Body (Euclid), and was a member of U.A.W. Local 1045 Retirees Chapter. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren, shopping, birdwatching, cooking, traveling and watching T.V. She enjoyed listening to old hymns and 40’s music.

Her biggest enjoyment in life was being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed the family “multi-generation” get-togethers that kept everybody together. Christmas, Thanksgiving and birthdays were all special to her. She was loving, caring and stressed the importance of being a close family. Be respectful, caring and loving to each other. Family is everything – friends sometimes come and go!

Funeral services Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the funeral home at 10 AM. Pastor David Welle, Officiating. Burial following in Lake View Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Julia at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON RD. (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 2-4 AND 6-8 PM.
