Julia Vranjes

JULIA VRANJES (nee Koronic), age 88, beloved wife of the late Steven; loving mother of Ana Vranjes and Maria Koogler; devoted grandmother of Ashley Garrett (husband Curt) and Michael Koogler and great-grandmother of James, William and Grace Julia; cherished daughter of the late Josip and Julia (nee Vuckic) Koronic. Preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. 

Julia was born on February 2, 1936 in Gaj, Croatia. She immigrated to the United States in 1969, taking a seamstress position for the Richmond Brothers in the Cleveland area. This feisty and strong-willed lady married her husband Steven and they raised two daughters, which were the focus of her life. During leisure time, she enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking and was an avid reader. On January 20, 2025, this sweet and friendly woman passed away leaving her family missing her sense of humor, warm smile and love.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, January 25, 2025 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 140 Richmond Road, Euclid, Ohio at 10AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Julia AT THE CHURCH SATURDAY MORNING 9:30-10:00AM.
