Joyce Skiba

JOYCE ANN SKIBA, aged 75 years, the beloved daughter of the late Raymond and Mildred (nee Blue),loving sister of Gail, Diane Hoppes, Wayne and Linda Fagley (Robert), fond aunt and grand-aunt to many.

Joyce was born on July 29, 1948 in Cleveland, and passed away on April 4, 2024 at the home of her sister in Mayfield Heights. She graduated from Cuyahoga Heights High School in 1966, and attended Bowling Green University for 1 year, studying Language Arts. She knew Russian, Spanish, German and French.

Joyce worked for 35 years in several positions at the United States Post Office. After her retirement, she worked part time at the Mayfield Heights Library.

Joyce always wanted her Pilots license and achieved that goal in 1990. Joyce loved to travel. She experienced a European vacation along with a trip to Australia, New Zealand and Tahiti. Other travels took her to Mexico, Jamaica, Costa-Rico and Hawaii. Other trips included a host of trips to the western United States.

Whenever you think of Joyce.....You always say "That's Joyce". Stubborn with a Heart of Gold.

Private funeral services will be held with burial in Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Heights. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to The Cleveland Clinic Hospice.
