Joyce Srsa (nee LeNassi) On Thursday, January 5th, 2023, Joyce “Nonnie” Louise Srsa passed unexpectedly at the age of 80. Daughter of Joy and Matthew LeNassi; sister of Barbara Harty-Talarico (Joseph); mother of Sandi Fink (David) and Allan Srsa (deceased); grandmother of Matt (Aurora), Aubrey (Matt), Jessie, Rae, and Nate; great-grandmother of Ben and Flynn; and friend to many.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 25th, 1942, Joyce was an avid fan of Cleveland sports, especially baseball. She loved flamingoes, spending time with her family, a good crossword puzzle, and watching television while relaxing in her favorite recliner. Joyce was a fantastic cook who was known for her tennis-ball size meatballs. Her love of sweets is passed down through her family tree. Joyce was passionate about her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and also the Wickliffe Service Department, who she affectionately referred to as “her guys.” She served the City of Wickliffe for 34 years. After working as the Service Garage Administrator for 21 years, she retired in 2011. One of the many things she was known for was her generosity and many years volunteering with the Clean City Commission (now known as Keep Wickliffe Beautiful). Joyce was devoted to her faith; she exceeded 25 years participating in both the 1,000 Hail Mary’s and Perpetual Adoration at her parish, Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Wickliffe. St. Therese (the “Little Flower”), her patron saint, who was known for her simplistic and straightforward approach to spirituality, perfectly reflected Joyce’s outlook on life. Joyce will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joyce’s memory to OLMC of Wickliffe, OH. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, January 13, 2023 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel at 10:30 AM. Interment following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Joyce at the MULLALLY FUNERAL HOME located in the DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON RD. (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 4-8 PM.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
