JOYCE ANN CUMMINGS (nee Cesa) age 78, beloved wife of the late Bruce: loving mother of Heather Haberman (husband Mark); Mark, Paul and Thomas (wife Brittani); devoted grandmother of Alex, John and Rachel Haberman and Kennedy and Lincoln Cummings; cherished daughter of the late Armand and Victoria (nee Papaleo) Cesa; dearest sister of Carmen Cesa (wife Kay), Mary Kay Jones (husband Steve), Peggy Smith (husband Bob) and the late Jack Cesa; dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin, and friend of many.

Our mother Joyce was born into a close knit, loving Italian family. She attended Saint Margaret Mary elementary, Regina High School and Miami University where she studied Film & Television. She married the love of her life Bruce and they raised 4 children together. She was a stay at home mom who created a loving home along with our father, who both gave us an ideal childhood. She was very involved in church where she loved to sing and act in church plays, worked as an administrative assistant, and made lifelong friends. She was fiercely proud of her children, her grandchildren, her family and her Italian heritage. Our parents faithfully and intentionally raised their family to trust in the Lord first and foremost. She leaves a loving legacy of family, faith and recipes behind.

She devoted her life to the care of her children especially our brother Paul. In honor of her memory any contributions can be made to Tim Tebow Foundation’s Night to Shine program that supports Special Needs programs by clicking HERE.

Celebration of Life Service Thursday September 19, 2024, at 10 AM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Joyce at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) WEDNESDAY from 3-5 PM and 6-8 PM.
