Josie Rus (JoŽi) (nee Jarem) age 81 of Willowick. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 9, 2020. Devoted wife of Ivan for 56 years. Loving mother of Ivan J., Margie Klasa (Jim), Kristina Rus Cullis (Ben). Cherished Stara Mama to Austin, Rachel, Joel, Andrew, Allie, Gabrielle. Dear sister of the late Anton, Lojze, Mici, France, and Joze. Sister-in-law of France (Ivanka Rus deceased), Ivanka (Frank KogovŠek), Stane (Jill Rus), Joe (Irena Rus), Tone (Rezka Rus), and the following deceased: Mici (Matija Smuk), Slavko, Franska (John Vidmar), TonČka (Miha Vrenko), Lojska Rus.

Mass of Christian Burial 10AM Tuesday January 14, 2020 at St. Mary’s Church, 15519 Holmes Ave, Cleveland, OH 44110. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Josie at DEJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) Monday January 13, 2020 from 3-5 & 6-8P.M.

Josie was an active member of the Slovenska Pristava Pensioners Klub. Donations may be made in her name to Slovenska Pristava Inc., 5900 Som Center Road, Suite 12 #125 Willoughby, OH 44094.
