Josephine R. Wutchiett

JOSEPHINE R. WUTCHIETT (nee Homar) age 97, beloved wife of the late Joseph J.; loving mother of Cynthia (Robin Smith) Wutchiett, Ron (Susan), and Thomas; devoted grandmother of David (Sandra), Katie, and Tommy and great-grandmother of Rowan; cherished daughter of the late Frank Homar and Katerina (nee Vidmar) Homar; dearest sister of Frances Kaifez (Matt, deceased), Alice Signorelli (Tony), and the late Frank Homer (Lillian), and Mary Blatnik (Harry, deceased); sister-in-law of Lucille Race; dear aunt and great-aunt of many, and friend of many including Melissa Paskowski and the late Tony Ruttar.

Born in Cleveland Ohio on April 28, 1927, Josephine grew up in a close-knit Slovenian community and was immensely proud of her Slovenian heritage. She graduated from Collinwood High School before entering the workforce. She took great pride in her work as an Administrative Secretary at Euclid Schools, where she worked for many years. She had a loving relationship with her husband Joseph and enjoyed time with her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted Catholic. Above all, she was an honest, loving, kind, generous, and hardworking woman with integrity who strived to install those virtues in her children.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Josephine to Ss. Robert and William Catholic Church.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Josephine at Ss. Robert and William Catholic Church, 367 E 260th St., Euclid, OH., on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 9-10 AM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 10 AM.

Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery.
