JOSEPHINE SCIULLA (nee Sciarrabba), age 100; beloved wife of the late Onofrio; loving mother of John (wife Rose), Nina Barber (husband Richard, deceased) and Zina Thomson (husband Al, deceased); devoted grandmother of Richard Barber, II, Robin Hallagan (husband Tim), Julie, John O. (wife Gina) and great-grandmother of McKenna, Michael, Richard, III, Katie, Luke and Loren;  dearest sister of Salvatore Sciarrabba (wife Mary) and the late Melina Vacanti (husband Ignazio, deceased) and Tony Sciarrabba (wife Mary); dear godmother and aunt of Maria Wasko, aunt and great-aunt of many other nieces and nephews.

Josephine was born on February 12, 1915 in Tampa, Florida and passed away on November 1, 2015. Her family moved back to Italy when Josephine was 10 years old. She attended High School in Italy and moved back to Cleveland on December 8, 1950. Josephine was a 34 year resident of Mayfield Heights, previously of Lyndhurst. She was a faithful parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish. Josephine worked for General Motors where she sewed the interior of cars. She loved traveling, knitting, crocheting, and listening to music. Josephine was a great cook and everyone loved her sauce. In her spare time Josephine enjoyed word puzzles, playing slot machines, and spending time with family and friends. Josephine was a Cleveland sports fan and liked to watch basketball and hockey. Her family will remember Josephine as an angel, always hospitable, kind and generous woman. She never complained, was considerate and had a great memory.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, November 5, 2015 at St Gregory the Great Catholic Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish at 11 AM. Entombment following at All Souls Mausoleum.  Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Josephine at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) WEDNESDAY 4-8 PM.
