Josephine P. Petrello

“JOSEPHINE P. “PEGGY” PETRELLO (nee Kuhel), age 101; beloved wife of the late Anthony “Tony”; cherished daughter of the late Frank and Sophie (nee Gimpel) Kuhel; dearest sister of the late Helen Clipston, Frank Augustine, Anthony Godec, Anne Liccardi and Victoria Lehman; loving aunt of her caretaker Joseph Lehman and many other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Peggy lived in Chardon for 48 years before she moved to Mentor in 2004. An active member of St. Mary’s Church she was devoted to her faith and participated in the 50+ Club and St. Mary Adoration. In addition to gardening and cooking, Peggy enjoyed Polka music. Her family and friends will remember her as an enthusiastic person who loved children, dogs and being around people in general. She was the owner/operator of Peggy’s Beauty Salon in East Cleveland.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church 401 North Street, Chardon at 10 AM. Burial following in All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Peggy at THE DEJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY OF CHARDON (formerly Ritondaro) 126 SOUTH ST. (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) MONDAY 4-8 PM.
