Joseph Znidarsic

JOSEPH ZNIDARSIC, age 59, cherished son of the late Joseph and Vera (nee Loncar); dearest brother of Helen Vodopivec (husband Frank deceased), Anna Jakoveljevic (husband Tony deceased), John (wife Veronica), Paul "Tom" (wife Margie), Marko (wife Debbie), Vera Foreman (husband Dan), twin Mary Sax (husband Michael) and the late Peter (wife Susan); dear uncle of 19 and great-uncle of 26; treasured nephew, cousin and friend of many.

Joe was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 26, 1965. Before graduating in 1983 from Lake Catholic High School, he excelled in high school sports on their wrestling and football teams. Talented with his hands and specialized tools, Joe made his living as a self-employed carpenter. Being a social and friendly person who found enjoyment interacting with people, he was an active member of Pristava and the St. Clair Rifle Club. 

The outdoors held a high interest for Joe where he could be found hunting, fishing, hiking, camping and motorcycling. His green thumb in the garden encouraged his culinary skills and love for cooking. His tasty dishes and sense of humor were always welcomed at football parties to cheer on the Cleveland Browns. Joe's fascination with the world led him to travel to Europe, South America, Costa Rica, Alaska and many other locations throughout the USA. Joe passed away suddenly on October 8, 2024 and will be forever missed by his devoted family and circle of friends.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Relatives and friends are requested to meet for Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Divine Word Catholic Church, 8100 Eagle Road, Willoughby, Ohio at 10AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Joe at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) TUESDAY 2-4 AND 5-8 PM.
