Joseph Sidoti

JOSEPH S. SIDOTI, age 85, of Richmond Heights, OH passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Richmond Heights/University Hospitals surrounded by family and friends. Joe leaves behind his beloved wife of 65 years Mary N. (nee Marvaso). Son of the late Sam and Josephine, dearest father of Joseph A. (Nancy), Robert P. (Christine), grandfather of Michelle Sidoti, Jennifer R. Walter (Timothy), Joanna M. Bohonos (Michael) and great grandfather of Kaitlin Rose Walter. Brother of the following deceased Sara Camarati, Carolyn Nehez, Biagio “Bill” Sidoti and Josephine(“Gigi”) Fragapane. Uncle to many nieces and nephews and a friend to many.

Joe began his long and illustrious working career with Pick-N-Pay Supermarkets, B.F. Goodrich Company, retiring from The Globe Paper & Supply Company. A devoted member of St. Felicitas Parish in Richmond Heights, OH, and Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine in Euclid, OH. Following in his grandfather Biagio’s and father Sam’s footsteps served as President of the Society San Biagio di Militello Rosmarino, a religious organization devoted to honoring Saint Blasé, Bishop and Patron Saint of people with throat ailments, founded in Italy by his grandfather and 4 other men in 1910.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, November 13, 2014 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 140 Richmond Road, Euclid, OH at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, OH.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Joe at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) WEDNESDAY 3-5 and 6-8 PM.
