Joseph Principe

JOSEPH A. PRINCIPE age 69, beloved husband for 46 years of Barbara (nee Suazo); loving father of Jennifer Karabinus (fiancé David Morgan), Joseph M., and Laura Audino (husband Giuseppe); devoted papa of Anne Marie and Michael Karabinus, Joseph D. and Nicholas Principe, Ella, Rosario and Luca Audino; cherished son of the late Joseph and Antoinette (nee Pezzente) Principe; treasured brother of Frank (wife Kathie); fond son-in-law of Robert and Virginia Suazo; dearest brother-in-law of Robert Suazo, Doreene and James Zelch M.D., Donna and Patrick Iacobacci, Carla and Paul Hudock M.D.; dear uncle and friend of many.

Joe was born on November 30, 1946 and passed away on April 8, 2016 at Hospice House. He was a resident of Lyndhurst for 46 years, formerly of Mayfield Heights. Joe graduated in 1965 from Mayfield High School. He worked for the Plain Dealer as a District Manager. Joe enjoyed all sports and loved to play golf, poker, blackjack, and the lottery. He also loved to make homemade wine and sausage.  He was strong, outgoing, never complained and had a great sense of humor. Joe was a loving husband, father, and papa. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Contributions may be made in Joe’s memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve 17876 St Clair Ave, Cleveland, OH 44110. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at St Clare Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Burial following at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Joe at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) MONDAY 2-4 & 5-8 PM.
