Joseph Petric

JOSEPH M. PETRIC age 59. Beloved husband for 34 years of Elaine (nee Ludwig), devoted father of Joseph E. (wife Amanda), cherished son of the late Joseph W. and Barbara (nee Skripko), dear brother of Leslie Petric (husband Frank Hounshell) and the late Edward (wife Robin), dearest nephew of Charles and Gloria Skripko, treasured brother in law of JoAnn and Mitchell Oschip and Jeanne and Kevin Jordan, dear uncle and great uncle of many.

Joe was born on January 2, 1959 in Cleveland and passed away on August 24, 2018. He was a resident of Euclid for 59 years and a parishioner of Ss. Robert and William Catholic Parish. Joe was a coach for the Euclid Boys Baseball League as well as the Wickliffe Midget Football League. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1977 and proudly went on to work as an Electrician and Chief Housing Inspector for the city of Euclid. Joe loved gardening, coaching baseball, as well as football. He was also a car fanatic, enjoying classic and sporty cars. Joe greatly enjoyed listening to Rock & Roll music and was an avid Cleveland Browns, Indians, and Cavs fan. Before his illness,  Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping in his free time. Joe was a loving, devoted husband, reserved, giving, and hard working. He was a strong fighter. Joe was a true warrior in fighting his battle for 50 years with Diabetes. His family would like to give a special thank you to the Cleveland Clinic Cardiology Department, Doctors and nurses for all the support and care they provided. Joseph was a loving husband and father. He will be dearly missed by all.

Celebration of Life Service in memory of Joe officiated by Fr. Joe Fortuna will be Friday August 31 2018 at 5 PM at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME 28890 CHARDON RD. (BETWEEN BISHOP RD AND RT. 91) WILLOUGHBY HILLS. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Joe FRIDAY 3-5 PM.
