Joseph F. Mukics

JOSEPH F. MUKICS age 60, beloved brother of Susan Weibley (husband Dean); devoted uncle of Fr. Michael Weibley, O.P., Kathryn Wayner (husband Michael), and Jessica Urban (husband John) and great-uncle of 9; cherished son of the late Joseph and Priscilla (nee Horvath); dear friend of Vera Grassy Seltzer.

Joseph was born on June 16, 1960 in Cleveland, Ohio and passed away on June 8, 2021. He was a resident of Chardon, Ohio for the past 25 years and enjoyed working for the County Maintenance Department. He loved the people he met along the way and the many conversations they would have. In his free time, he loved photography and capturing all the beauty of God’s creation, as well as spending time with his buddy Boris.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Joe to the Dominican Friars Foundation, 141 E. 65th Street, New York, NY 10065.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Joe on Monday, June 14, 2021 at St. Bede Catholic Church, 9114 Lakeshore Blvd, Mentor, OH 44060 from 10-11 AM.

Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 AM.

Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.
