JOSEPH S. LAZZARO age 94, beloved husband for 67 years of Mary A. (nee Lipari); loving father of Linda A., Stephen T. (wife Lisa) and Joseph C. (wife Denise); devoted grandfather of Joseph (wife Tamara), John (wife Alyssa), Stephen and Charles Lazzaro and Nicholas Burns (husband Benjamin Ammon); cherished son of the late Sebastian and Rosalie (nee Santora); dearest brother of the late Sam, Theresa Sidoti, Philip, Mary Arrieta, Jennie Harper and Charles; dear uncle and great-uncle of many. World War II U.S. Army Veteran.
Joe was born on March 18, 1926 and died November 2, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. Joe was a proud World War II Army vet. He attended John Adams High School and was a machinist at TRW for forty-two years. Joseph enjoyed bowling, gardening, playing cards, completing jigsaw puzzles and upholstering furniture. He was a fan of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and big band music. He was a family man who always put others first. Those who knew him described him as giving and selfless, always willing to help others. Joe was devoted to his family and his home. A reserved man, he is also remembered for his sense of humor and bringing a smile to those who knew him. He will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, November 7, 2020 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish at 10 AM. Burial following with Military Honors at All Saints Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Joe at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) SATURDAY MORNING 8:30-9:30 AM
