Joseph Gabric

JOSEPH GABRIC age 79, beloved husband for 44 years of Theresa (nee Ovsenik); loving father of Stan (wife Heidi), Maria Cross (husband Andrew) and Christina Monroe (husband David); devoted grandfather of 9; cherished son of Joze and Pavla (nee Dimc); dearest brother of Ivanka Rahne (husband France) and Anton Gabric (wife Majda).

Joseph was born on November 6, 1937 and passed away on November 25, 2016. He was a 20 year resident of Richmond Heights. Joseph was a parishioner of St. Vitus Catholic Church. He was also a member of Slovenska Pristava. He worked as a finishing carpenter, and enjoyed gardening and being outside. Joseph’s favorite family functions were anything that involved food and family. Friends and family would describe him as strong, genuine, smart, and helpful. He was creative and a solution maker. Joseph will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Joseph’s memory to St. Vitus Catholic Church 6019 Lausche Ave, Cleveland, OH 44103. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at St. Vitus Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Joseph at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME 28890 CHARDON RD. WILLOUGHBY HILLS  (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) TUESDAY 4-8 PM.
