Joseph A. Fedele

JOSEPH ANTHONY FEDELE, age 86, passed away on May 12th. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth E. (nee Wanda); children Joseph G. (Tami), Claudia D’Arcangelo, Verona Valore (Mike), Gregory MD (Sharon), Christopher (Deborah); and grandchildren Maria Gilmour (Jim), Anthony, Dominic, Gretchen D’Arcangelo, Alexa, Marissa, Devin, Nicholas, Nicolina Valore, Reese and Vincent.

Joe was born on April 25, 1928, was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during WWII, attended The Ohio State University and graduated in 1955 from the Frank E. Bunts Institute for Physical Therapy in Cleveland. Joe was a Physical Therapist for 57 years impacting countless lives throughout the Cleveland area. He had a private practice from 1968 through 1993 and finished his career in Home Health Care, retiring at the age of 84. Joe was a self-taught woodworker, making furniture, bowls and other wood creations for his family. He enjoyed cribbage, poker, fishing, wine and collecting antiques.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church at 10 AM. Interment with military honors following at All Souls Cemetery.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Joe at THE MULLALLY FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 3-5 & 6-8 PM.
