JOSEPH M. CAH age 80, beloved husband for 58 years of Ondina “Nada” (nee Rodela); loving Papa of Denise Orlando (husband Marco) and Doris Robinson (husband Steve); devoted Nono of Marco (fiancée Lindsay Schoen) and Nicole Orlando, Tommy, Joey, Katey (deceased), and Ashley Robinson; cherished son of the late Lazar and Justina (nee Starc); dearest brother of the late Armando, Marija and Ivan; dear brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle of many.

Joseph was born on February 7, 1940 in Crni Kal, Slovenia and passed away on September 12, 2020. He was a resident of Richmond Heights for 43 years, formerly residing in Cleveland after moving from Slovenia in 1965. Joseph was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church. He attended school in Slovenia and worked as a cabinet maker for Leiden Cabinetry. Joseph was a member of St. Clair Rifle and Hunting Club, Primorski Club and former president, and Slovenska Pristava. He loved gardening, woodworking, and spending time with his grandkids. Joseph enjoyed dancing especially tangoes, waltzes, and polkas. He will be remembered most as a hardworking, selfless, and family-oriented man who had a good sense of humor. Joseph was a devoted husband, Papa and Nono, who also loved being with his friends. He will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, September 18, 2020 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church at 10 AM. Private Family entombment following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Joseph at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 3-7 PM.
