Joseph Byrne

JOSEPH RICHARD BYRNE, aged 87 years, beloved husband of the late Marilyn (nee Laird) and the late Betty (nee Conover) (formerly Boehnlein), dear father of Richard (wife Kathy), Dennis (wife Susan) and the late Thomas, step-father to James Boehnlein, M.D. (wife Mary Carr), Mary Jo Conti (husband Ken) and Beth Ann Lehr (husband Brian), loving grandfather and great-grandfather, cherished brother of the late Doris and Francis, fond uncle and great-uncle.

Joseph was a resident of Lyndhurst for 23 years. He was a parishioner of St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Joseph graduated from Benedictine High School. He was self-employed as a manufacturer’s representative from 1970 until retirement. His past-times included restoring Model “A” Fords and listening to Big Band music. Joseph got the most enjoyment in life from people. His family remembers him as happy and easy-going; he loved life. He was just a “Good Joe.”

In lieu of flowers, contributions suggested to St. Paschal Baylon School Endowment Fund (to benefit families in need of tuition), 5384 Wilson Mills Rd., Highland Heights, OH 44143. The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Joe at St. Paschal Baylon Church on Saturday morning April 16, 2016 from 9:30 until 10:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial following in the church at 10:30 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements by THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID.
