Josef Radisek

JOSEF RADISEK, age 92, beloved husband for 48 years of the late Vlasta (nee Tekavec); loving father of Betty DeAngelis (husband Frank), Joe, Albin (wife Beth), Ted, and Mary Ann Daugherty (husband Bob); cherished son of the late Franc and Antonija (nee Jager); dearest brother of Anton, Pavle, and the late Franc, Vinko, and Martin; Grandfather to 13, Great-Grandfather to 29; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

Josef was born on March 4th, 1933, in Orehovo, Slovenia and immigrated to the United States in 1955. It was then that he married his beloved wife, Vlasta, and together they established their family in Cleveland and Euclid. Strong in his faith and heritage he was a parishioner of St. Felicitas Catholic Church and member of the Slovenska Pristava Pensioners. Josef enjoyed being outdoors and watching Cleveland sports teams. Josef was extremely hard working and lived his life as a tool & die maker for Fisher Body and General Motors. On March 11, 2025, Josef passed away peacefully. He leaves his family missing his compassion, care, and witty sense of humor until the day they meet again.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Josef to St. Mary of the Assumption Church.

Private interment at All Souls Cemetery.
