Jonathan Day

Jonathan Joseph Day, beloved husband for 50 years of Kim; loving father of Suki Wellen (Jeremy), Jonathan Day (Megan McAuliffe); devoted grandfather of Quinn, Avery and Zach Wellen, Stellan and Connor Day; dearest brother of Barbara Schofield and brother-in-law of Kathi Haney (Doug) and Carol Biebers; dear uncle and friend of many.

Jon was a teacher, commercial pilot and later in life worked for General Electric and Ernst and Young. He graduated from Shaker High School in 1965 and went on to graduate from Belknap College in New Hampshire. He volunteered as a Firefighter/EMT and Public Information Officer for Russell Township. His hobbies were music, sailing, flying, photography for which he won an honorable mention in Life Magazine. While he had many hobbies, his main love was his family. He was an easy-going man and trusted friend. Those who knew him appreciated his warm caring heart and his keen and witty sense of humor.
