John T. Mausser

A Mass of Christian Burial for John T. Mausser, 54, will be on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 10:00 AM at The Church of St. Mary, 401 North Street, Chardon.

Mr. Mausser died suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday at his home. He was currently living in Concord Twp. and previously in Chardon.

John retired from Lincoln Electric after many years. He was a graduate of Lake Catholic High School. John loved his motorcycles and masterfully built many over the years. His family describes him as a perfectionist, heart of gold, sharp wit, hard worker, and loved living and riding fast.

He is survived by his mother Adele of Chardon, brothers Colin, James (Janette) and Leon (Paula), he was the dear uncle of Scott, Jodi, Amanda, Ashleigh, Jessee and great-uncle of 4; his long-time partner Karen Johnson also survives.

Mr. Mausser was preceded in death by his father Leo.

The Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of John at The DeJohn Funeral Home & Crematory of Chardon (formerly Ritondaro) 126 South St. (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Friday 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Burial will follow the Mass in All Souls Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in John’s memory to The Church of St. Mary.
