John T. Kitzmiller

JOHN THOMAS KITZMILLER, aged 76 years, beloved husband for 54 years to Norma (nee Rowe), dear father of Jeff (wife Holly) and Scott (wife Kristin), loving grandfather of Matthew, Elisabeth, Drew and Karlie, fond brother of Ken, Carol Birdwell and Tim. United States Air Force Veteran.

John Kitzmiller was born on March 11, 1943 and passed away peacefully on August 7, 2019. He was a resident of Cleveland Heights for 46 years. He graduated from Midpark High School in Chicago, IL. John attended Mount Union college and received his bachelor’s degree at Cleveland State University. He worked as the Director of Patient Accounting at various hospital organizations. John was a committed member and head usher at Epworth United Methodist Church. His family gave him the most joy in life. He loved to golf and attend Mount Union football games. John will be remembered as a witty, kind, helpful, sincere, faithful, loving man with a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.

Graveside funeral services will be Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019 at Lake View Cemetery at 11 AM (meet at Mayfield Rd. entrance at 10:45 AM). Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of John Thomas at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) MONDAY 5-8 PM.
