JOHN E. STEVENSON, age 91; beloved husband for 68 years and devoted caregiver for the last several years of Donna (nee Richards); loving father of Michael (wife Jane) and James Stevenson (Janet), and Patricia Cervenik (husband Leonard, deceased); devoted grandfather of Kathryn (Andrew) White, Amy (Gabriel) Macis, Matthew, Madison, and Michael Stevenson, and Leonard and Daniel Cervenik; dearest son of the late Helen (nee Moran) and Kirk Stevenson; cherished brother of Nora McGreal, G. Albert Stevenson and the late Kirk Stevenson; dear uncle and great-uncle of many. U.S. Army Veteran.

John was born in Cleveland on August 14, 1929 and passed away peacefully on February 23, 2021.  He was a resident of Highland Heights for the past 40 years, and previously lived in Euclid.  He graduated from Collinwood High School and went on to graduate from John Carroll University.  He worked as an accountant and in management for Arnold Wholesale and Frankelite. In his spare time, golfing was his love.  He also enjoyed reading, and preparing taxes for seniors.  The most joy came to John in the form of his family and grandkids.  He loved gathering for the holidays.  John was a social caregiver with a big heart, and he will be missed by many.

Prayers of Christian Burial Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) where family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of John SATURDAY 10 AM until time of Prayers. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.
