John Stawicki

JOHN P. STAWICKI, age 68. Beloved husband for 32 years of Elayne S. (formerly Zelman) (nee Nole). Loving step-father of Dina Dembicki (nee Zelman) (husband David). Cherished son of the late Carl H. and Pauline (nee Stuber) Stawicki. Dear brother of Carl H., Jr. (wife Jackie), Suzanne Damsel (husband Ron Knazek) and Karen J. Martin (husband Jim). Fond uncle of Carl J. Stawicki, Kendrick W. Martin, Lisa Jacewicz, Shavon Martin, Emily Morris and the late Rachel Morris.

John was born on April 16, 1946 and passed away on November 25, 2014 at Geauga Medical Center. He was a resident of Hambden for 32 years, previously of Willoughby. John was a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran. He was best known for his knowledge of many things and his handyman skills. John was a machinist for Lincoln Electric for 23 years. In 1982 he started the Affordable Fencing Company where he worked until his retirement in 1992.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday December 6, 2014 at 5:00 PM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) where the family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of John on SATURDAY from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.
