JOHN A. SIMON, age 53, beloved husband for 19 years of Kerrianne DiLorenzo-Simon; loving father of Rebecka and Jared; cherished son of the late Margaret (nee Nainiger) and William; dearest brother of Marla Guiterrez (husband Salvador) and Sheryl and “Big Brother” to Sam Caronite; dear son-in-law of Daniel and Carol DiLorenzo; fond brother-in-law of Kenneth DiLorenzo, Dana Kenneley (husband Robert) and Cristi Russo (husband John); devoted uncle to Salvi, Mateo, Abram, Daniel and the late Riley.

John was a resident of Kirtland for the past 8 years, and previously lived in Willoughby Hills. After graduating from Eastlake North High School, he was the owner and President of Realty Title Agency. He was a long-time volunteer with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Lake County. John was a devoted husband and father and enjoyed spending time with his children. John loved to entertain and was the life of the party. His family will remember him for his sense of humor and as always having a twinkle in his eye, especially when playing jokes. John’s family and friends will miss his kind and generous nature.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, December 19, 2014 at 11 AM at Divine Word Catholic Church, 8100 Eagle Rd., Kirtland. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of John at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 2-5 and 6-9 PM.
