John Schenovitch

JOHN SCHENOVITCH age 93, longtime resident of Richmond Heights. Entered into eternal life June 24, 2014. Beloved husband for 52 years of the late Thelma M. (nee Bender). Loving stepfather of Sandra J. Matheny (deceased) (husband Donald K. Sr.), Gary M. (deceased), and Brian F. Yost (wife Janice M.). Dearest step-grandfather of Kevin B. and Kenneth B. Yost (wife Jennifer), Donald K. Matheny, Jr. and great step-grandfather of Hannah N. and Justin D. Yost. Cherished son of the late Rieley and Ella (nee Severovitch). Dear brother of Ann Kalbrunner and the late Catherine Senovitch, Millie Jacenitch, Sophie Schenovitch, Mary Cooper, Nick Schenovitch and Marcella Koch. Dear uncle and great uncle.

John was born April 25, 1921 in Cleveland. He was a long-time resident of Richmond Heights and a WW II U.S. Army Veteran.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in John’s memory to Alzheimer’s Association P.O. Box 74924, Cleveland, OH 44194-4924.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet for the Tribute Service Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Willoughby Hills United Methodist Church, 34201 Eddy Road, Willoughby Hills, OH at 11 AM. Burial following with Military Honors at Whitehaven Memorial Park Cemetery.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of John at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 2-5 PM.
