JOHN T. MALINOWSKI age 80, passed away peacefully in his home on May 13, 2020. A resident of Hartstown, PA, for over 40 years, John is remembered by family and friends as a smart, kind, and generous person. He was the youngest son of the late Frank and Stella (nee: Pieczul) Malinowski of Mahanoy City, PA. He was preceded in death by his brothers Richard Malinowski (wife Maggie) of Chesterland, OH, and Edmund Malinowski (wife Helen) of Stuart, FL. He is survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family who will miss him dearly.
John was born on October 20, 1939 in Mahanoy City, PA. He graduated with a degree in Engineering Science in Physics from Fenn College (Cleveland State University) in 1962. He had a distinguished career in engineering design and testing for the space programs Mercury, Gemini and Apollo in the 1960s in Houston, TX, and later as an engineer at Pittsburgh Des-Moines, Inc. He fulfilled a lifetime dream of building a house and retiring in a small town where he could read and study astronomy. John loved his family, his Creator and the innocent animals on Earth, especially cats.

A private family prayer service was held at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME AND CELEBRATION CENTER OF CHESTERLAND.
