JOHN W. “Jack” LAMPRECHT age 92, beloved husband for 71 years of Marjorie (nee Stiles); loving father of J. Lee (wife Martha), Susan Gay Lepp, and Dan (wife Joan); devoted grandfather of Ryan Lepp (Nicole), Chad Lepp (Jill), Brandon Lepp, Kurt and Keith Lamprecht and great-grandfather of Hanna, Nina, Carter, and Grant; dearest brother of the late Ned. WWII U.S. Navy Veteran.
Jack was born on December 4, 1923 in Cleveland and passed away on April 3, 2016. He was a resident of Highland Heights for 15 years, formerly of Chautauqua, New York. Jack was a Coast Guard captain and a member of Tau Beta Pi the National Engineer Honor Society. He graduated from Rocky River High School and Purdue University. Jack was the Vice President of Sales for Cleveland Crane and Engineering and had a 40 year career in the material handling industry. He loved his family and boating. He and his wife Marjorie even lived on their boat for seven years after his retirement. Jack will be remembered by his family and friends as outgoing and social. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, the true patriarch of the family. Jack will be greatly missed and always remembered.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of John at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 4-7 PM.
