John Kavouksorian

JOHN K. KAVOUKSORIAN, M.D. age 96, was born on December 13, 1919 in Aintab, Turkey to Kevork and Seranoush (nee Barakjian) Kavouksorian and passed away on January 23, 2016. He was the beloved husband of the late Doris (nee Nashold); loving father of J. Peter (wife JoAnn), Cynthia, M.D. (husband James Zins, M.D.), Paul, Harry (wife Joan), and Mark; devoted grandfather of Emily and Michael (Alexandra).

John was a resident of Maplewood at Chardon since 2007, formerly of Utica, NY. He was a general surgeon at a private practice in Utica, NY. John loved music and played piano. He enjoyed painting, playing tennis, golf, snow skiing and sailing. John will be remembered most by his family as a cultured, intellectual man who had a wide variety of interests. He will be missed greatly.
