JOHN SPEAR (JACK) JAY, age 79, beloved husband of Kay (nee Lindstrom) of Brooksville, FL; loving father of John (Debra) of Big Flats, NY, Linda (Terry) Partridge of Gahanna, OH and Rob (Stephanie) of Mentor, OH; devoted grandfather of 7; treasured son of the late Albert H. and Eleanor (nee Spear); cherished brother of Glenn (Rita) and the late Albert; dear uncle and friend of many.

Jack was born June 7, 1936 in Cleveland, OH and passed away July 15, 2015 in Brooksville, FL. Jack served 9 years in the Ohio National Guard and was called to active service for the Berlin Wall and Cuban Missile crises. Jack retired in 1996 after 28 years of service in the Mayfield Village Police Department with the rank of Lieutenant and title of Executive Officer.
