JOHN HAMPTON INGOLD age 90, beloved husband for 27 years of Phyllis Donnelly-Ingold (nee Beswick); father of Charles (wife Christine), Oberon (husband Paul) Wonch, Eversminde Ingold, Coeli (husband Lou) Gangale, Thisbe (husband James) Butcher; devoted grandfather of Brandon Ingold, Henry and James Butcher, Christina Gangale; great-grandfather of Saren and Silas Ingold; cherished son of the late Chester and Madge (nee Rollow); dearest brother of Robert (wife Betty) and Carole Jean (husband Dan) Hamilton; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.
U.S. Navy Veteran.
He enjoyed speaking at gaseous electronics conferences around the U.S.A. and spoke at a NATO Science Research Conference in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1997. He worked over 30 years for GE as a Research Physicist.
A Celebration of Life will be held soon in the Penthouse at 1 Bratenahl Place.
