JOHN H. BROM, age 81; loving brother of Jeanne Hazen (husband Bill, deceased); devoted uncle of Patricia Janoske of Chardon, Cathleen Cannon (husband Dave) of Mentor, Diane McFarland (husband Kevin) of Painesville and William Hazen of Medina; cherished grandfather of Ricky and Michael; dear great-uncle of many.

John was a US Army Korean Conflict Veteran and a member of the Chardon VFW. Raised in Cleveland and a graduate of Cathedral Latin High School, John was a resident of Chardon for 46 years. He worked for Fisher Body as a Tool and Die Journeyman. For fun, John enjoyed camping, collecting old cars and motorcycles and loved playing the lottery. He will be remembered as a thoughtful, generous man with a great heart.

Celebration of Life Service Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 11:30 AM at THE DEJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY OF CHARDON (formerly Ritondaro) 126 SOUTH ST. (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square). Burial following with Military Honors at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of John at the Funeral Home THURSDAY 10:30 – 11:30 AM.
