John Fiorello

JOHN A. “JACK” FIORELLO age 72, beloved companion and husband for 41 years of the late Elizabeth A. “Betty” (nee Nemeth); cherished son of the late Angelo and Katherine (nee Geiger) Fiorello; dearest brother of James (wife Cheri), Florence Sirca, Evelyn Fiorello, Raymond (Pam) and the late Richard “Babe” (wife Fran) and Carl (wife Carol); loving step-father of Sharon Barth (husband Robert), Rick Barshick (wife Barb) and Diane Young; devoted grandfather of Jacqueline Barshick, Dennis Young, Corey Spomer, Dustin Chandler (fiancée Ayrn Cigoy), Jakob Barshick (wife Anji), Ryan Barshick and great-grandfather of Abel; dear brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle of many.

Jack was born April 5, 1943 in Cleveland, OH and passed away on March 24, 2016. Jack graduated from Shaw High School and was a district manager for the Cleveland Plain Dealer, retiring after 38 years of service.  He has lived in Mentor since 1977, previously residing in Euclid.  Jack was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church for the last ten years.  He enjoyed traveling all over the country, bowling, billiards and was a corn hole expert.  Jack will be remembered as a giving, caring and loving man with a great sense of humor and a big heart for others.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor, OH 44060 at 9:30 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Jack at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) TUESDAY 2-4 & 5-8 PM.
