John Eber

JOHN A. EBER, age 84. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Kist) for 53 years. Born March 3, 1931, died March 15, 2015. Devoted father of Eric (Diane) of Twinsburg and Janet Siebarth (Kevin) of Michigan. Dearest papa of Karl, Kayla and Joshua Eber and Andrew and Sarah Siebarth. Dear brother of Donald (Virginia, dec.) of MO and Larry (Shirley) of MI.

John served in the Army in Germany during the Korean War and was a 32 year employee of General Electric Co. He was an avid golfer, bowler, gardener, wood carver, reader and traveler. John was a lover of jigsaw puzzles. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, positive attitude, kindness to all and as the perfect gentlemen. A volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army and his church.

A Celebration of Life Service with Military Honors will be held on SATURDAY, MARCH 28, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Garfield Memorial Church, 3650 Lander Rd, Pepper Pike.

The family would prefer donations in John’s memory to Salvation Army, 1710 Prospect Ave., Cleveland, OH 44115 or Senior Independence Hospice, 1001 Kingsmill Parkway, Columbus, OH 43229.
