JOHN PATRICK “JACK” COURTOT, aged 73 years, retired University Heights and Wickliffe Firefighter, beloved husband for 47 years to Jeanette (nee Nero), dear father of Dewey Howard, Colleen Koller (Don), John K. (Lisa), Robert (Geneva) and James (Lila), loving grandfather of Geoffrey, Gregory and Michael Koller, Jacob, Erin, Zachary, Jenna and Emma Courtot, and Richard Howard, great-grandpa of Kelsi Howard, cherished son of the late John H. and Mary (nee McCafferty), devoted brother of Marilyn Renovich, Eileen Chase, Mary Beth Simpson and the late Kathleen. Jack was an avid softball player, runner, member of American Legion Post # 339, and U.S. Army Veteran.

A Mass of Christian Burial Monday, Sept. 28, 2009 at St. Paul Catholic Church, E. 200th St. and Chardon Rd., Euclid, at 10:30 AM. Burial following in All Souls Cemetery.

The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Jack at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON RD. (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) on Sunday, September 27, 2009 from 2-6 PM.
