John Addams

JOHN G. ADDAMS, aged 85 years, beloved husband of Rita (nee Rolling) (formerly Herron) and the late Margaret (nee Colvenbach), loving son of the late Carl B. Addams and Dorotha Faust (nee McGill), cherished brother of Patricia Dubray (husband Gilbert) and Carl (deceased) (wife Madeleine), treasured uncle and grand-uncle to many. John was a 1959 graduate of Western Reserve University, hired off the campus for a long and successful career in Industrial Engineering of General Motors. His hobby was collecting and restoring antique automobiles. He was President of the Friends of the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum, President of the Model T Club of Cleveland, and was Director of Ohio Region, Classic Car Club. He held membership in various groups supporting vintage Packards, Chryslers, DeSotos and motorcycles. John was a proud United States Army Veteran. Contributions in memory of John suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 East 185th St., Cleveland, Ohio 44119. A private funeral service with burial will be take place at Acacia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of John at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) on FRIDAY from 2:00 to 5:00 AND 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
