Joanne C. Clark

JOANNE C. CLARK (nee Guarino) age 82, loving mother of Ronald, Sr., Debra Camino (husband Nick), and Robert (wife Stefanie); devoted grandmother of Ronald, Jr., twins Elizabeth and Jonathan, Tyler, and Maddie; cherished daughter of the late John and Rose (nee Medovitch) Guarino; dearest sister of the late John Guarino (wife Margaret); mother-in-law of Sherren Clark; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Joanne was born on November 25, 1936 in Cleveland and passed away on January 27, 2019. She was a resident of Willowick since 1958, previously living in Euclid, and was a parishioner of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Joanne graduated from Euclid High School in 1955 and went on to proudly work as a technician at Swagelok for over 30 years until her well-deserved retirement in 2015. She greatly enjoyed gardening and loved her home and listening to Barry Manilow and Neil Diamond in her free time. Joanne also loved traveling to Niagara Falls, Put-In-Bay, cruising and dancing. She was strong-willed, loyal, hardworking and dedicated. Joanne was compassionate, giving, generous and very family oriented. Family was the center of Joanne’s universe. She will be dearly missed by all.

Contributions may be made in memory of Joanne to St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Prayers of Christian Burial Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 4 PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Private Burial later at Western Reserve Memorial Garden. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Joanne at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) SATURDAY 2-4 PM.
